This is a group for BBQ lovers in the DMV area. I know DC isn't known for great BBQ, but I'd love to explore all the various regional options in the area. I am a Texan with several grills and a smoker, but would like to check out the various BBQ joints in the greater DC area with other afficianodos. We are a group based in the DC Metro area that love craft beer and trying new things. Beer Snobs need not apply. We meet 2–3 times a month, the first Thursday of each month we meet at Meridian Pint in DC (starting January 2013) and the first Saturday a month we tour a local (or not too distant) brewery.
