This is a neighborly supper club for folks who share a love for good food that comes from the ground. We'll take turns cooking up plant-based meals for smallish groups in and around the south end. Whenever possible, we'll source seasonal, local and organic ingredients. Hosts may ask their guests to bring something to supper (a salad, a loaf of bread, a bottle of wine). This is a casual group who likes to make and share hearty, healthful food. Eaters of all kinds welcome.

Conventional methods of monocultural food production use large amounts of chemical pesticides and fertilizers that can also end up on our plates. Cities offer a number of resources for food production that have been traditionally overlooked. There are better ways to grow food right where we li …

I'm starting this group as part of my effort to become free of industrialized foods. I want to become as strong and healthy as I can, and realize that this will involve abandoning the Standard American Diet. Instead, I'd like to eat as our distant hunter gatherer ancestors ate, an eating style known as the Paleo diet. Meeting others on a similar path would make the journey so much fun! We could meet for potluck dinners, and share ideas. I have found the following books helpful: Deep Nutrition by …

Though that vision remains and we are still recruiting moms, many young professional women have joined our ranks at the program as well as female students and now our online presence is changed from the Cambridge Moms to the Cambridge Womens Commun …

Because you've taken that love of food to a whole new level and have successfully isolated everyone you hold near and dear. Well you, …
